Eagle Island Catholic Church Installed Mary’s Statue In The Parish

The Church Of The Ascension Catholic Church, Eagle Island, Port Harcourt in Rivers State, installed the beautiful statue of The Blessed Virgin Mary in the parish.
Performing the installation prayers, Msgr. Barinem-Levy Boniko said the Church will continue to propagate everything Catholic by worshiping God Almighty and honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the Saints, said the Church uses the images and pictures of the saints in the church and not that of the Pope, Bishops, or pastors.
Dez Mayorz Media gathered that the parish through the parish priest, Fr. Francis Tete had earlier installed the statue of Jesus Christ before this day.
