RIWAMA : Bro Felix Obuah resignation exposed heaps of waste in Rivers State.
Which shows Obuah and his RIWAMA contractors were doing well prior to his resignation.

– Port Harcourt City Mayor, Sir Allwell Ihunda quickly intervened in his LGA.

(Stephen Wobo writes from Port Harcourt).

Ever since Bro. Felix Obuah resigned as the Sole Administrator of RIWAMA and the recent sack of his contractors, Rivers State Waste disposal management got worst, everything opened and Port Harcourt, Obio/Akpor, other LGA go very dirty and stinky with heaps of waste everywhere.

Immediately Felix Obuah resigned and all RIWAMA waste contractors sacked, Rivers State stink with refuse.

This significantly shows that Bro Felix
Obuah and his RIWAMA team have been doing great jobs with available resources prior to his resignation.

Rivers state was not perfect but relatively cleaner during Obuah’s administration than now even with dumpsite challenges, poor funding, high operational / running cost, increasing volume of waste and population in Rivers State.

The Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda is putting so much efforts and commitments to keep Port Harcourt City Local Government Area clean.
And the people are happy with his efforts.

The situation requires immediate appointment of an administrator or coordinator for RIWAMA and contractors need to go back to work with better funding for a better result that will sustain Obuah’s achievements in waste management, against all odds and compliment the effort of the state government.
