Big Celebration In Port Harcourt As Gov. Wike Flag-Off Construction Of Eze Epara Rebisi Palace

– Directed that Kaduna Street in Port Harcourt should henceforth be referred to as Eze Epara Rebisi Street.

There was a massive celebration in Rebisi, Port Harcourt, as the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike laid the foundation for the construction of the Eze Epara Rebisi palace in Port Harcourt.

This came thirty years after the Rivers State government issued the Certificate of Occupancy for the project.

Governor Wike disclosed that the project will be completed within the next ten months, and assured the people of Rebisi kingdom that the money for the construction and completion of the magnificent palace has been provided by the Rivers State government.

The governor commended Eze Epara Rebisi XII and the paramount ruler (King) of Port Harcourt, HRM, Eze Uchechukwu Isaiah Elikwu, for his steadfastness in galvanizing support for his administration since 2015.

Governor Wike directed that Kaduna Street in Port Harcourt should henceforth be referred to as Eze Epara Rebisi Street. To this end, he has directed the chairman of Port Harcourt Local Government Area, Allwell Ihunda to immediately effect the change.

The chairman of the Port Harcourt Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda commended Governor Wike and said the governor has further demonstrated that governance is really about the people.

Overwhelmingly, the Eze Epara Rebisi XII and paramount ruler (King) of Port Harcourt, HRM, Eze Uchechukwu Isaiah Elikwu, highlighted that it has been the dream of the people of his kingdom in the last 60 years to have a palace for the people.

In like manner, the Rivers State governor also Flag-off the New Federal High Court Complex, Port Harcourt, and commissioned the Pamo
University.
