Where is the fear of God in Amaechi when he tells his supporters to vote for Atiku? – Dike

WHERE IS THE FEAR OF GOD IN AMAECHI?

The former Governor of Rivers State cum erstwhile Minister of Transportation, the Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi always harp on his fear of God and integrity. But you know one fact about integrity?

*Integrity is like a lipton tea, its colour does not manifest in cold water, but under pressure(hot water). In the same wavelength, Chinua Achebe of sweet memory, in Arrow of God, opines that: “Unless the wind blows, we do not see the fowl’s rump.”*

Now, to the issue.

*Did Amaechi tell his Igbo audience that he told his supporters to vote for Atiku Abubakar, as against Peter Obi? Let him publicly deny it, if he has the fear of God and integrity as always claimed.*

A man who was the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly for 8years, did not initiate a bill to address the long dead, buried and forgotten issue of “Abandoned Property” and did not also sponsor an executive bill on the selfsame matter when he was 8years Governor, why now excavating it, that his proxy, Tonye Cole, if elected Governor would revert it to the Igbo. Where is the fear of God in Amaechi? Where is the integrity in Amaechi? Tell me!

*Amaechi’s desperation to remain politically afloat is akin to a man drowning, and looking for any available straw to hold on to.*

It is apparent that Amaechi ails from post power syndrome. And that is what happens to a man who forgot that political power is ephemeral. If not, why unearthing the dead issue of abandoned property, something he knows is impossible to revert!

*Why is Amaechi oblivious that every “wayo” has an expiry date? He should stop from further exposing himself. My maternal grandmother of blessed memory asserts that: “Better end in small shame, than in a big shame”. That advice is apt for Amaechi. “Advice no be curse o”, according to Late Boma Erekosima of the Radio Rivers fame.*
