The Mayor Of Port Harcourt Sir Allwell Ihunda Shows Great Capacity As Rivers State PDP Campaign Team Shutdown Port Harcourt.

Port Harcourt City was put on a standstill at the Community Secondary School, Elekahia where the New Rivers Vision Consolidation Campaign trail did their high spirited rally; as the Rivers PDP state-level electioneering rally reaches Day 11.
The very big open Community Primary School’s field in Elekahia was filled to the brim with overflow outside the field.
This shows that Port Harcourt City Local Government Area is PDP and will likely vote for PDP except the presidential candidate of PDP.
The Mayor of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda together with PDP Leaders in PHALGA showed great capacity with theultitude of party faithful and supporters who converged at Community Primary School, Elekahia, Port Harcourt for the epoch political rally that had in attendance majority of the notable names in PHALGA politics.
The Mayor of Port Harcourt thanked the State governor for the works and projects he has executed in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.
“The people of Port Harcourt said I should thank you for all the good works and projects you have done and still doing in Port Harcourt City Local Government which has totally changed the landscape of Port Harcourt.”
“The only thing we own you is to come out en masse and vote for our candidates in PDP.”
“Your Excellency, as you can see the mammoth crowd here, it’s a clear indication that Port Harcourt City Local Government is PDP and PDP is Port Harcourt.”
“Your Excellency, we ask you to go and rest, go and relax because we will deliver all the PDP (approved) candidates. Thank you and God bless us.” – Sir Allwell Ihunda.
The entire Rivers State PDP celebrated the birthday of the PDP House of representative’ candidate for Port Harcourt City Federal Constituency 2, Hon. Amadi, Blessing Chigeru.
The Rivers State PDP chairman, Amb. Desmond Akawor handed PDP flags to the House of Assembly candidates in PHALGA including; Hon. Solomon Wami, Hon. Smart Adoki and Hon. Azeru Opara.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara extolled Governor Nyesom Wike’s urban renewal programs.
He said he will sustain the standard set by Governor Wike because any development in Port Harcourt City is for all Rivers people.
The Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike said the 2023 elections is between Rivers people and treacherous elements in the state.
“This election is between us and those betrayers, it is between Rivers people and betrayers of Rivers people. I mean those who cannot defend the state, they can never stand for something right, they are always looking for what to put in their pockets.”
“We are going to defeat them, a bold statement must be made. We will tell them that they are not in charge of PHALGA, you will let them know that the people own Rivers State, not them,” he said.
Governor Wike emphasized the idea behind his urban renewal programs, particularly the development projects in Port Harcourt City.
“If I want to say all we have done in Port Harcourt City, we will not leave here today, you all know, they are there for all to see.
“If you are coming into a state and its city looks bad, it would give you the impression that the rural areas are even worse. Just like the governorship candidate rightly said, Port Harcourt City is the image of Rivers State.
“We have made the whole city beautiful with good roads, flyovers, modern buildings, parks. Even those campaigning against us cannot dispute what we have done here,” he added.
The Governor debunked the misleading insinuation that the Peoples Democratic Party stopped APC campaign in Opobo on Tuesday, 31 January 2023. He accused the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State of lawlessness and lies.
Earlier, Governor Nyesom Wike led the PDP governorship candidate, Sir Siminalayi Fubara to the Palace of HRM. Eze Isaiah Uche Elikwu, Paramount Ruler of Port Harcourt to seek the support of the King and the Port Harcourt City Council of Chiefs for the flag-bearer.
