The Funeral Obsequies Of Late Dame Oroma Nmerukini, A Virtuous Woman.

The entire Port Harcourt was put to standstill as Rivers State people and beyond paid the last respect to a virtuous woman, Late Dame Dr. Mrs Oroma Nmerukini (Nee Nnokam), the wife of the former Mayor of Port Harcourt, Chief Sir Azubuike Nmerukini.
The 3 days funeral activities started with Candle light procession/Songs of praise/chorale on Wednesday, Service of songs on Thursday and the proper funeral Obsequies of the virtuous woman that took place on Friday, 17th February, 2023.
Her body was laid at the family house in Obaziolu, Diobu as reception took place at Obaziolu and Port Harcourt Polo Club, concurrently.
Top-notch dignitaries attended the funeral, including; H.E. Gov Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike, the Rivers State Governor.

The Mayor of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda.

During her stay on earth, Mrs Oroma Nmerukini positively influenced humanity and brought the best among her family members and Port Harcourt people at large.
She’s survived by her husband – Chief (Hon.) Azubuike Nmerukini KSC JP.
Barrister Chike Nmerukini (Son), Dr. Mrs. Chika Chuku (Daughter), Hon. Chimeka Nmerukini (Son), Comrade Chinwe Eddeh, Mr. Enyindah Nmerukini and Mr. Azundah Nmerukini among the children.
Daughters in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and well wishers.
May her soul rest in peace, amen.
