Ahoada East LGA chairman, Barrister Benjamin Eke Commissioned And Flagged Off Seven Projects In A Day.
– Says that Governor Nyesom Wike has never tempered with Rivers State LGA allocation.

The DMOMA Awards LGA chairman of the year on Sports Development, Youth and Students Bursary Payment, Hon. Barrister Benjamin Eke commissioned and flagged off seven projects in Ahoada East LGA in grand style. This he achieved in a day.
Barrister Benjamin Eke commends Governor Nyesom Wike for the opportunity to serve his people, said the Rivers State Governor has never tempered with the state LGA allocation which is the reason the LGA Chairmen in Rivers State are doing great Projects.
The LGA chairman revealed that he was able to carry out such series of projects because he saved for it.
The chairman magnanimously handed over 14 official vehicles to 13 councilors and the council secretary.
The projects Flag-off and commissioning were performed by Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison, Deputy speaker, RSHA, Ahoada East State of constituency, Hon. Boma Iyaye, Honorable commission for Local Government Affairs and Hon. Ohia Prince Obi, Honorable commissioner Ministry of Youths Developments, Rivers State as Guests of Honour.
The projects embarked include;
– Flag-off of the reconstruction of Ihunwo Secondary School at Ihunwo.
– Commissioning of Upata District Office at Edeoha.
– Commissioning of 50 open market stores at Ahoada main market.
– Graduation of skill Acquisition Trainees.
– Graduation of ICT Trainees.
– Handover of official vehicles to 13 councilors and others.
– Flag-off the construction of Ahoada East Local Government Staff Canteen and
– Flag-off of the construction of motor vehicles maintenence workshop.
Speaking at the occasion that happened in five different locations in Ahoada East Local Government Area, the Traditional rulers in Ahoada East Local Government Area commended the chairman for his projects delivery, said the community are very happy with him.
“We Wish Hon. Ben Eke can go for 3rd tenure if possible. We are very proud of our chairman and all our sons and daughters in the government. They are making us proud.” – Traditional Ruler said.
Hon. Ohia Prince Obi, Honorable commissioner of Youth development in Rivers State commended the Ahoada East chairman. Hon. Ben Eke for his youth empowering programmes, says the Mayor of Port Harcourt, Sir Allwell Ihunda, Obio/akpor LGA chairman and Ahoada East LGA chairman are among the LGA Chairmen that have performed well when it comes to Youth Empowerment programmes in Rivers State.
“I have never seen this before, where LGA chairman commissioned projects, flag off projects, did skills empowerment programmes and gifts cars to councillors and secretary all in one day. This is remarkable” Hon. Boma Iyaye, Honorable commissioner for LGA Affairs.
Hon. Barrister Ben Eke thanked the people for believing in his administration, promised to flag-off more projects in 2023, as he calls on his people to vote for PDP in the forth coming 2023 elections.
