Confusion In Imo Assembly As Speaker ‘Resigns’, New Speaker Emerges.
DMOMA AWARD organizers are yet to make statement on if the then speaker will still be on DMOMA Awards contention or not(speaker of the year), having resigned as speaker in Imo State.
The reason for the reported resignation of the ex-speaker isn’t known yet but a photo of the new speaker, Emeka Nduka, representing Ehime Mbano, state constituency, surfaced on Monday in Owerri, alongside the Deputy Speaker of the House, Chyna Iwuayanwu, majority leader, Kanayo Onyemaechi and the member representing Isu state Constituency, Ngozi Obiefule.
Under 2yrs of Gov. Hope Uzodinma’s administration, Imo State House of Assembly has produced 4 speakers.
