Gov Sanwo-Olu Commissioned Orochiri-Worukwo Flyover In Port Harcourt.
The Lagos State Governor, H.E. Sanwo-Olu Babajide commissioned the Orochiri-Worukwo flyover in Port Harcourt as the guest of HE Governor Nyesome Wike.
The bridge is part of the infrastructural investment in urban renewal of the Garden City under Gov Wike’s administration.
Gov Sanwo-Olu commended Governor Wike for investments in the physical upgrade of the state capital and other critical infrastructural developments across the state.
Said Lagos State and Rivers State will continue to be a place where dreams are actualized.
“Whether you like Wike or not, people will have good things to talk about Gov Wike when he leaves office’ -Gov Sanwo-Olu added.
Speaking at the commissioning, Gov Wike said he has no regrets for inviting Gov Sanwo-Olu to commission a project in Rivers State, haven invited so many political leaders from different parties and tribes to commission projects in Rivers State including the Vice president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo.
The Rivers State governor said he will continue to pay salaries regularly and gratuities; and continue to do more projects.
He reinterates the readiness of his party, PDP to win Rivers State election in 2023.
“No party can win PDP in Rivers State. I am fully in charge.
Anybody that feels am not incharge should put his head and let’s see if you can come out.” – Gov Wike warned.
The Mayor of Port Harcourt City, Sir Allwell Ihunda JP commended Gov Nyesom Wike for having the people at heart through his developmental projects, which is a clear demonstration of the love for the people.
The mayor said the Orochiri-Worukwo Bridge constructed by the Wike-led administration will ease the movement of commuters within Port Harcourt and environs and improve the productivity of the people.
