Rivers 2023: I came to consult – Dakuku Peterside tells his supporters.
Former APC gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 governorship election in Rivers State, Hon. Dakuku Peterside has kept his supporters in dilemma, says he came to consult his people and leaders towards the 2023 gubernatorial election.
“I will act with the best interest of our party, our state and our nation at heart. It will not be about my personal ambition.” – Dr Dakuku Peterside added.
He didn’t categorically declared to run for governor, rather he said he came for consultations.
Dakuku, had been he declared would have made it the third person to declare for Governor of Rivers State since APC announced Tonye Cole as their concensus candidate.
Rivers State Rivers looks like it may have three factions of APC; Amaechi faction, Magnus faction and Ojukaye faction.
Nevertheless Tonye Cole still claims to be the consensus candidate of APC, says Ojukaye, others are running as independent candidates.
