Shame On South South Governors That Betrayed Me – Gov Wike.

Says PDP presidential primary election outcome is the will of God.

The 2023 PDP presidential aspirant, who is also the Governor of Rivers State has deplored the nature in which some of his South South brothers and others betrayed him in the just concluded PDP presidential primary election in Abuja.

In his reaction during a thunderous welcome back to Rivers State by the people of Rivers State, His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike said shame on those South South governors who sold out.

He urged his supporters to continue to support PDP because the outcome of the PDP presidential primaries is still the will of God and that God’s time is always the best.

“Rivers people should be proud of themselves anywhere they find themselves.

This country doesn’t belong to any particular region.

I can’t be a second class citizen in this country….” – Gov Wike added.

The former Vice president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerged PDP flag bearer.

Atiku emerged winner with 371 votes, winning his closest runner up Gov Nyesom Wike with 237 votes.

Sokoto State Governor openly stepped down from the presidential primary election to canvass votes for Atiku Abubakar at the convention center in what many Nigerians considered as inappropriate to democracy and a total betrayal to his friend Gov. Wike.

It’s unofficially reported that South South governors also betrayed Gov Nyesom Wike and cut down his chances of winning the PDP presidential primary election, with Akwa Ibom and Delta governor allegedly fingered. Benue State governor aswell.

Atiku Abubakar immediately starts reconciliatory visitations to all the aspirants that lost the primaries.

‘My intension is to unite Nigeria, am a unifier. I will work to ensure I restore unity to all Nigeria and give everyone a sense of belonging.

And tackle security and economic problems. We will reverse all the misdemeanor of APC governors.

I am ready to work with all the aspirants.

It’s a well fought primary election.

Together with build the party. I appeal to all aggrieved members of the party to return to the party. Let’s remember the poor people in this country and help to solve their problems. God bless you all.” – Atiku Abubakar said during his acceptance speech at the primary election.

Oliver Diana = 1 Vote

Sam Ohabuwa = 1 Vote

Ayim Pius = 14 votes

Udom Emmanuel Gabriel = 38 Votes

Bala Muhammad = 20 Votes

Bukurla Saraki = 70 Votes

Nyesom Wike = 237 Votes

Atiku Abubakar = 371 Votes.
