2023: My kinsmen mandated me to contest for the house of Representative seat – Sir Collyns Owhonda.
Rivers State APC chieftain, Sir Collyns Owhonda will be contesting for the Port Harcourt City Federal House of Representative 2 seat, under the umbrella of APC.
In a brief media chat with Dez Mayorz Media, Sir Collyns Owhonda says his kinsmen consider him as the ‘Ebubedike’ that has the capacity to run for for the office.
He will be picking the APC form for Port Harcourt City Federal Constituency 2.
‘My kinsmen said there is a battle ahead and that am the only ‘Ebubedike’ that has the capacity to run for the office” – Sir Collyns Owhonda said.
When asked about his preferred aspirant for the office of the Nigerian president, he said;
“Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, the Minister of transportation is our own.
‘Nkem bu nke m, nke anyi bu nke anyi’.”
“Rt Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has the capacity and qualities to rule this country interms of age and performance.
He did marvelously well as a governor of Rivers State, very exceptional as minister of transportation.
And will make Nigeria better if elected as the president.”
Sir Collyns Owhonda expressed disatisfaction over some APC members who go against the APC family decision in Rivers State.
Says anyone who goes against the family decisions is against the welfare of the family.
“In as much as everyone has the right to contest and pick a form, we should always respect the family decisions.”
“APC party in Rivers State has Tonye Cole as the consensus candidate. And that decision should be respected.
Anyone who decided to go against the family decision will failed.
They have been failing already, because all their plans to go to court didn’t work.” – Sir Collyns Owhonda added.
Sir Collyns Owhonda, is a well known Catholic Knight in Port Harcourt City.
