Hon. Chinyere Igwe Reiterated His Commitment To Empower Women In Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2.

The Member of the House of Representatives, representing Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 , Hon (Barrister) Chinyere Igwe has reiterated his commitment to carryout more programmes that would empower women in his constituency.

Hon Chinyere Igwe made the commitment when he received members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in his Office on wednesday.

Similarly, the Lawmaker continues to empower his people in various endeavours.
His scholarship scheme have received monies from the DMOMA Awards’ winner.

During the 2019 campaign, Hon. Chinyere Igwe bought JAMB forms for 100 persons and promised to sponsor them through their different tertiary institutions, with women fully represented.
At the long run 35 persons succeeded and have now received monies for the scholarship for the second time.

Hon Barrister Chinyere Igwe shared Christmas and New year gifts, packages, and fund to his constituency members and beyond. Including bags of rice, cows, tomatoes, etc.

He also gave N60,000 each to about 250 people in the constituency.
He provided vulcanizing machines for vulcanisers, sewing machines and other machines; and gave building materials to people that lost their homes on fire outbreak to build their homes.

He is constructing class rooms in Nkpolu-Oroworukwo Community Secondary School.

He has being embarking on massive Agricultural and Fishery Empowerment Programs, where he gave over 100 ponds, 12,000 fishes and fish feeds to the beneficiaries..

His massive campaign against cultism and kidnapping is yielding good result to the society as the Diobu axis of the Constituency continues to be peaceful and serene.

No fewer than 100 people, especially women have benefited from his Health and safety campaign.

Sir Chinyere Igwe donated two transformers to Rebisi community located at Ikokwu junction and Eagle Island.
