INEC Fixes Dates For Collation, Results Announcement And Supplementary Elections In Rivers
Independence National Electoral Commission has fixed date for the collation and announcement of Rivers governorship election results.
Festus Okoye, INEC commissioner for information and voter education, announced this at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.
The Announcement of the result will take place between 2nd and 5th of April, 2019.
The Commission further stated that there will also be a supplementary election in the state.
The supplementary election will be conducted on the 13th April where necessary.
He added that issuance of certificate of return will be done on April 19.
