Rivers State government demolished MLJ Marine Oil and Gas site in Eagle Island road, Port Harcourt.
The Rivers State Internal Revenue Agency have demolished the on-going MLJ construction site in Eagle Island Road, Port Harcourt.
This happened after the owner of the company Mr Mpaka Longjohn was unable to present appropriate documents of the land. Instead, the army chased away the Port Harcourt City Council when they came to demand for the right documents, making Rivers State Government to come in.
Information reaching DEZ MAYORZ reported that the agency demolished the site due to illegal land operation, citing that the company did not register with the state government.
The director of MLJ Company – Mpaka LongJohn, bought the hectares of land from the community even when the government placed “Stay away” order on the land.
All efforts to get to the Mr Longjohn Mpaka(MLJ lounge boss) RIRS boss and Rivers State government was futile.
