Ijaw Nation Calls For Immediate Reinstatement Of Governor Fubara

Ijaw people had a sensitization rally organized by the Congress for Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities.

During the rally, the Ijaw Nation also called on Bola Ahmed Tinubu to immediately reinstate Governor Fubara who was recently suspended from office. They argued that the Governor did not commit any crime to warrant his suspension and appealed for his immediate reinstatement. The Ijaw Nation believes that the suspension of the Governor was a deliberate attempt to undermine the progress and development of the Ijaw Nation.
It is important to note that the Ijaw Nation is a peaceful and law-abiding ethnic group that has contributed immensely to the development of Nigeria. The derogatory remarks made by Chief Barr Nyesom Wike are not only an insult to the Ijaw people but also to the entire nation.
The one-day Ijaw National Sensitization Rally brought together Ijaw leaders and people from all three zones to stand in solidarity for the Ijaw Nation, the Late Pa Edwin Clark, and Governor Siminialayi Fubara.
