Students Of Ignatius Ajuru University Frown At The Continuous Increment Of School Fees
– Said the VC is exploiting the students.
Dez Mayorz News.
The students of Ignatius Ajuru University have frowned at the yearly increment of school fees in the school since the inception of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Okechukwu Onuchukwu.
The students complain of school fee hikes and unnecessary payments of yearly departmental dues.
Said that 200-level and 300-level students are made to pay clearance fees, which are supposed to be part of clearance fees for level 100 and final year.
They added that the school is a State University and not privately owned to warrant compulsory Departmental levies added to the school fees at every year/level which is alien to the school.
Hence resulted in more suffering and hardship on the students including Indigenes and non-indigenes.
The students called for the State government’s intervention.
All efforts to reach the school management at the time of filing this report were futile.
