Fashion Xperience Festival Targets 500 Businesses In Niger Delta Region

Rivers State will experience one of the best fashion festival in Africa; first of its kind in the Niger Delta region, as ‘Fashion Xperience Festival’ sets for economic booming fashion festival in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Speaking to Dez Mayorz News and other newsmen at a press briefing on Wednesday, the organizers of the Fashion Festival and the Founding director Boma Ogidigben said the event is an idea borne out of the need to showcase the best of African Fashion here in the Niger Delta for increased revenue to the local economy mainly via local business, Job creation, Positive media coverage and images; hence showcase the region and attract investor investors, sponsors, opportunities, revenue generation for SMEs and the community at large.
The communicating director, Oby Ivy Fakae, added that the event, targeting 500 businesses is aimed at helping and supporting women in business; protecting the sundry perspective of the fashion industry thereby creating a bridge to link numerous businesses involved in the production of textile, sales of apparels and other fashion related items to cosmopolitan audience of fashion enthusiasts across the globe starting from the city of Port Harcourt Rivers State Nigeria.
Others who spoke to the newsmen at the press briefing includes; Nathan Atane Empraim, Tayo Osu A., Anthony Edem and Alaye Jekubo.
The event is scheduled to hold on 26th and 27th October, 2024 at Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt.
It will feature fashion festival party (music and comedy), private runway shows and Women Empowement summit (giving smei business grants and supporting the fashion industry).
