Rivers PDP Executives: Rivers People Congratulate Hon. Aaron Chukwuemeka, Hon. Sam Soni Ejekwu, Others
Congratulatory messages have been coming in for Hon. Aaron Chukwuemeka, Hon. Sam Soni Ejekwu, Dr. Benibo George, and other newly elected executives since Saturday after the People’s Democratic Party successfully did their state congress in Rivers State and elected their new executives.
Hon. Chukwuemeka Aaron was elected the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rivers State, Hon. Sam Soni Ejekwu emerged as the vice chairman, Rivers South-East Senatorial Zone.
and Dr. Benibo George as the State Secretary.
Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, on Saturday participated in the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Congress with top known PDP stakeholders in attendance.
However, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, Ngozi Odu, other loyalists of the governor, boycotted the exercise.
The congress which was supervised by the representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, led by the state resident electoral commissioner, REC, the representatives of the security agencies and the national working committee, NWC, of the PDP.
The newly elected executive have been sworn in and their names are:
