Rivers State Commissioner’s Aide Resigned, Said He Is Tired Of The Kind Of Politics Being Played In His LGA

Chimuenya Henry Umejuru, SA on Business Strategy to the Commissioner for Ministry Physical Planning and Urban Development, Rivers State, has resigned from his position.
Dez Mayorz News gathered in a letter he addressed to the Hon. Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Prince Isaac Umejuru dated 1st August, 2024.
Speaking to reporters on this development, Mr. Umejuru said his decision was guided by his conscience saying,
“I don’t want to be involved with the kind of politics going on in the state and Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area. He added that he doesn’t benefit anything from it”.
In the letter of his resignation, Mr. Umejuru stated that his decision to resign was made after careful consideration, as he felt it was time to explore new frontiers and challenges to further advance his career.
During his nine-month tenure with the Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Umejuru he played a crucial role in shaping the Ministry’s business strategy, leveraging his expertise to drive growth and development of the Ministry. It was learnt that he is being owned.
Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area is one of the major beneficiaries of the current Rivers State Government, with four of their children in major political appointment positions; including the acting sole administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Prince Ohia, who has been under scrutiny and negative side of the news with so many accusations of bad conduct since he became acting RIWAMA boss, contract favoritism, political witch-hunting, assaulting old women and attacking journalist who reports about the agency.
