Protesters In Rivers State Commend Police CP Tunji Disu, For Exemplary Conduct

The #EndBadGovernance protesters in Rivers State have commended the Rivers State Police Command led by CP Olatunji Disu for their exemplary conduct so far in Rivers State in the ongoing nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests.
The protesters in cheers to the police officers on Day 2, said the Rivers State police force is displaying professionalism and discipline, contrasting them with reports of more aggressive actions by security personnel in other regions, such as Abuja, Kaduna, Borno, and Kano, where incidents of teargas deployment and provocation towards peaceful protesters were reported.
The protesters in their thousands called on the federal government to meet their demands and ensure the protection of citizens’ rights to peaceful assembly and expression.
Similarly, the Mayor of Housing, My-Ace China has commended the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara on the way he responded to the protesters, said he is delighted and proud of the Rivers State Chief Executive for his show of exceptional leadership and understanding as well as demonstration of humanity on Day One of the nationwide hunger protests.
The Mayor of Housing also noted that Rivers State also recorded zero violence or vandalism, rather, that there was demonstration of love between the governor and the people.
