If your Husband is the bread winner, be the akara winner.-Fr Chimaobi Ohaji charges COTA CWO.
The Catholic Women Organization, Church Of The Ascension (COTA), Eagle Island, Port Harcourt marked their MOTHERS’S SUNDAY in a grand style on 10th June,2018. The remarkable event started with 6:am mass in which the COTA women took charge of all the Mass activities including serving of mass, readings, choir stand(singing), church warden ,among others.
During the sermon, the parish priest of COTA – Fr Chimaobi Ohaji Casmir encouraged them to be hardworking and support the family always. He urged the mothers not to be lazy but they should imitate and follow the virtues of Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of our Messiah .
” ….If your husband is a bread winner, then be an akara winner, because bread and akara is better served than bread alone….”-fr Chimaobi.
He concluded by advising the mothers to stay away from blame games and always accept blames and responsibilities, and mandated the men to fully provide all round security for their family.
