Garrison Computer dealers decry extortion by suspected cultists in Ogbunabali.
Heavy shooting at Aguma Junction in Garrison, Port Harcourt was heard, with tires burnt when unknown Cult boys controlling the area had come to request again for their weekly settlement after they were payed N600,000 last week.
Dez Mayorz gathered that the traders rejected to pay the boys another N600,000 but the cultists used force and absconded with gadgets worth millions of Naira.
The Port Harcourt City Mayor, Sir Allwell Ihunda is yet to react on this development.
The community boys now blocked major entries into Ogbunabali as they call on security agencies and government to come to their rescue.
“The computer village traders should be given adequate security and every other assistance to confront them.
There be should no place for cultism.
They wouldn’t want to work or do anything because people rent shops to do business in their village.
Is it easy making money as they think? If the police cannot help them, let them resort to self help.” – Concern Citizen told Dez Mayorz Media.
