PDP CAMPAIGN TRAIN HITS OLOM-NKORO, OLOM-AMA AND IWOAMA NKORO WITH A MESSAGE OF FIRM TRANSFORMATION.
The Campaign train of the PDP having recorded a huge success at the electioneering flag-off ceremony held at Nkoro Kingdom last Saturday stormed the satellite communities of Ward 10 today with a message of hope and transformation.
Alternate Campaign DG, Hon. Humphrey Uranta, assured the people of Olom-Ama, Olom-Nkoro and Iwoama Nkoro of mind-blowing impact if the people in their usual manner give unparalleled support to the PDP.
Chairman of the Party, Hon. Godwin Pepple while showcasing the standard bearers to the people of the communities gave a message of hope and transformation.
He reaffirmed the party’s resolve in the transformation of the LGA.
Leader of Ward 10 in Opobo/Nkoro LGA, Prof. Ngerebo thanked the people of Olom-Ama, Olom-Nkoro and Iwoama Nkoro for their support thus far recalling total support of the communities for the PDP in all elections.
He concluded by urging the people to ditch other political parties should they come afterwards.
Amasenibo Reuben Ateke while speaking on behalf of the communities drew the attention of the Campaign Council to challenges facing the people of the locality.
The Chairmanship Candidate of the Opobo/Nkoro PDP, Hon. Enyiada Cookey-Gam speaking at the campaign venue reiterated that if elected into office, his administration will not neglect the satellite communities in the LGA. In his words: “I have heard your plights from your Chiefs and Elders, our Transformation Agenda which includes Agriculture, Human Capacity Development, Infrastructural Development etc will get to all satellite Communities of the LGA, we will consolidate on peace and security for an enabling environment to carry out our Transformation Agenda which will at the long run bring smiles to the faces of our people.
Hon. Angela Oju-Kienmie, the Vice Chairmanship Candidate of the PDP on behalf of the party appreciated the traditional rulers for their hospitality and the party faithfuls especially the women for turning up in their numbers to the campaign venue.
