A Heroic Homecoming for Bonny LGA Chairman, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple

Bonny Local Government Area erupted in celebration today as the newly inaugurated Chairman, Amasenibo Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, DSSRS, received a rousing homecoming reception from a massive crowd of supporters, admirers, and community stakeholders.
The joyous occasion followed his official swearing-in on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Government House, Port Harcourt, where the Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd), formally inaugurated him alongside other council chairmen.
In Bonny, jubilant youths, elders, and political associates thronged the streets, waving banners, singing, and dancing in honor of their son, whom they described as a “beacon of renewed hope and progress” for the local government.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple expressed gratitude to God and the people of Bonny for their overwhelming show of love and support.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring residents that his administration would focus on grassroots development, unity, and sustainable growth.
“This victory is not mine alone, it belongs to every son and daughter of Bonny. With God’s sufficient grace, we shall build a future that leaves no one behind,” he declared.
Community leaders, traditional institutions, and political stakeholders also pledged their support, noting that Hon. Pepple’s track record of service and leadership places Bonny on the path of stability and progress.
The electrifying homecoming marked the beginning of what many believe will be a transformative era under his leadership.
