CEO of Gladius Urban Farm and Mother Face Legal Battles Over Alleged Fraud and Corruption

Prince Emeka Ineh, the CEO of Gladius Urban Farm Africa Limited, is embroiled in a high-profile legal case following allegations of orchestrating a Ponzi scheme that defrauded investors of hundreds of millions of naira. Operating from an office in Port Harcourt, the company promised lucrative returns on investments in what was marketed as an agricultural investment venture. However, investigations have revealed no evidence of any operational agricultural establishment, large or small, prompting accusations that Gladius Urban Farm run by the CEO his mother Mrs Love Ineh her daughter Ineh Chiudo Queen and Obiakpolam Perpetual Adaugo was a fraudulent scheme disguised as a legitimate investment platform. Ineh, currently facing charges in court, is seeking bail as the legal proceedings intensify, drawing significant attention from investors and authorities alike.
Adding to the controversy, Ineh’s mother, a former Commissioner for Housing and Urban Planning in Imo State, is also facing legal scrutiny. The Department of State Services (DSS) has arraigned her for alleged corrupt activities during her tenure, raising questions about the family’s business and political dealings. The convergence of these cases has fueled public outrage, with many viewing the allegations as indicative of systemic issues in investment schemes and public office accountability in Nigeria. The DSS is reportedly deepening its investigation into the former commissioner’s activities, seeking to uncover any connections between her alleged corruption and the operations of Gladius Urban Farm.
Some investors who reportedly lost over 355million naira as at when we got the information more incoming, is at the forefront of those demanding justice, claiming that Gladius Urban Farm misled investors with false promises of high returns. These investors, along with others, has expressed frustration over the lack of transparency and the absence of tangible assets to back the company’s claims. The case has sparked broader concerns about the prevalence of Ponzi schemes in Nigeria, with authorities urging the public to verify the legitimacy of investment platforms.
An anonymous source who disclosed to Kalabari TV that Prince Emeka is currently been detained & taken to court, they cited being Misled by false promises made during radio jingles luring unsuspecting customers turned victims and putting his staff on pressure by giving them targets to bring unsuspecting people for him to defraud.
As the court proceedings continue the defendant is seeking bail from the jury, please note that Mrs Adugo, The DSS is also investigating Mrs. Love Ineh Prince’s mother and
Mrs Adugo Obiakpolam who was granted bail from state CID but never returned even when requested for questioning, and her surety failed to provide her. Mother of the CEO and his sister are currently on the run. The outcome of both Ineh’s fraud case and his mother’s corruption charges will likely have significant implications for investor confidence and regulatory oversight in the region.
