The FCT Minister, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has won the heart of many Nigerians at his media parley monitored by Dez Mayorz News.

The FCT Minister made it clear that he is open to peace, reconciliation and forgiveness if done in a sincere way.

He revealed that as a politician, he is not happy with the emergency rule but has to respect it for the interest of the state.

He bemoaned the way Gov. Fubara was handling the affairs of the state that led to the emergency rule where
the democratic government was gone.

His statements read below:

“So when people say, the president did this, I say look.
If there is where they should be worshipping, they should be worshipping Mr. President.
Everyone (Fubara’s camp) should go to the president and wash his feet for saving them.

Mind you, the Supreme Court has said nobody can go to local government when it’s undemocratically
Mind you, the Supreme Court has said nobody will go to the state without proper pressure.
In that situation, there will crisis.
All institutions will be shut down.
Health will be in crisis.
Education will be in crisis. Emergency rule didn’t allow such crisis.

…. The matter is in court but people must say the truth. The governor was gone. It is not on my place to make it good for the governor. As a politician, my business is not to make him comfortable and that is why there is power play.
Now the point I’m trying to make.
Mr. President came in and saved the situation, saved the masses of calamity and anarchy.

Mr. President saved the situation and that’s what they didn’t understand.
He (Fubara) didn’t even say that they should even thank Mr. President for saving them….” – Nyesom Wike.

“I am open for sincere reconciliation and forgiveness and reconciliation.” – he added.
