Barr. Chioma Nweze Joined Great Leaders Of SouthEast To Pay Last Respect To Professor Humphrey Nwosu

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement, South East, Hon. Barr. Chioma Nweze joined great leaders of South East to pay a last respect to a man whose legacy will continue to resonate in Nigeria’s democratic journey; Professor Humphrey Nwosu.

Prof. Nwosu, who played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s democratic history by overseeing the annulled June 12, 1993, presidential election, was laid to rest on Friday in his hometown, Ajali, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Some of the dignitaries who attended the funeral include; Governors of Anambra and Abia States, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and Dr. Alex Otti, as well as the Minister for Works, Senator David Umahi, and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
Also at the event was Mr. Peter Obi among others.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
