Pictures: Port Harcourt Host Community Development Trust/Total Energies/NNPC Held A Training Workshop For Traditional Rulers

Traditional rulers from the Rebisi Kingdom, the Mgbuesilaru community, and the Rumuogba community attended the workshop/Training meant for the traditional rulers.

The Training /Workshop with the theme ‘Leadership And Capacity Development, Surest Means For Conflict Resolution’ was a very intriguing and impactful one, which was a follow-up of the Two-Days training workshop held on 4th and 5th February 2025; which had Community Development Committees (CDC) Leaders, Women leaders, Youth leaders, and community Stakeholders
in attendance.

The workshop for the traditional rulers had 50 traditional rulers in attendance, making it a total of 200 people to be trained by the board.

The training took place at the Desikok Royal Hotel,
Rumuibekwe Housing Estate, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Host Community Development Trusts (HCDT) is a product of the PIA Act 2021, that ensures that the benefits of oil and gas exploration are shared with Host communities.
