– Commends Port Harcourt Media Organization for their proficiency.
Sir Allwell Ihunda DSSRS has reiterated his total loyalty to the immediate past Governor of Rivers State and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, H. E. Chief Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON, GSSRS POS Africa and Life Bencher, whom he holds to high esteem and refers to as the political leader in Rivers State.
This he said to the Port Harcourt Media organization who visited him in his Eagle Island residence in the spirit of the New Year celebration.
Sir Allwell Ihunda said that during his administration, he situated significant projects in all the 20 wards in the Port Harcourt Local Government Area before his administration was abruptly and unceremoniously terminated by the Rivers State Government under Governor Siminalayi Fubara who unlawfully seized the statutory allocation of twenty-one Local Government Areas without cogent reason, since April, 2024, before the end of their tenure on 17th June, 2024, that was subsequently extended for another six months by the Rivers State House of Assembly..
Allwell Ihunda thanked the Media Organization for the visit and urged them to remain resolute and steadfast. He promised to support the Media Organization in his capacity, where and when necessary.
