The attention of Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization Worldwide has been drawn to publications made on social media platforms on disclaimers against Senator Mbata.
Said the Leadership of the apex socio-cultural body of the Ikwerre Ethnic Nation was not aware of the said social media report and it was done without the consent and approval of the Ogbakor Ikwerre President-General, Eze Barr. Godspower Onuekwa Ph, D, Justice of Peace•
Ogbakor pointed out that the media report was forged by unknown hooligans who deliberately used the name of Ogbakor Ikwerre President-General to commit the unholy act.

by Dez Mayorz News, it said the Leadership of the Ogbakor Ikwerre has denied ever disowning Senator Mbata nor stripped him of his Chieftaincy titles and entitlement over his participation in the activities of Ohnaneze Ndigbo and won.
They urge the general public to disregard the social media report and refers it as baseless, frivolous, and unethical in every circumstance.
Dez Mayorz News earlier reported that Nyesom Wike’s brother, from the same Obio/Akpor LGA, Senator John Azuta Mbata in Rivers State has been elected as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
Mbata, a former Senator representing Rivers East at the National Assembly, was elected at the stakeholders meeting of the Igbo Socio-Cultural organization at the old government lodge in Enugu, the Enugu State capital.
Mbata is an Apara Man from the Eneka Clan In Obio-Akpor LGA of Rivers State, joined the race for the position of President General Of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo late and still won.
He succeeded Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis Chukwu who was appointed to complete the tenure to succeed the late Chief Emmanuel lwuanyanwu.
He was elected by consensus in the election which was witnessed by the Governors of Enugu, Imo, and Anambra States.
