It was a festival of celebrations in Rumuji Community in Emohua Local Government Area and GRA, Port Harcourt local government area, both in Rivers State; as Chief (Sir) Sam Soni Ejekwu uniquely bagged Chieftaincy title.
He was honorarily coronated as ‘Eze Omekwa-Eli’ which can be translated as “The King that brings development to the land” by the
Rumuji Council of Traditional Rulers (Ohna) Emolga, Rivers State under the leadership of HRH Ohna Christian Okachinike Elechi JP
Neweli Rumuji/Odegwu Kingdom at Rumuji Town Hall, Emohua LGA Rivers State.
The coronation was a festival celebration that continued with a red packet reception at his residence in GRA, Port Harcourt.
The coronation mixed with Yuletide celebrations was full of high-profile cultural displays that filled the air throughout the event, to the friends and relatives who came around to felicitate with the celebrant, and top government dignitaries who attended to make the occasion an unforgettable one in the heart of both Chief (Sir) Sam Soni Ejekwu, the celebrant and his guests.
