The land of Ogba Egbema Ndoni local government area, Rivers State is blessed with the largest gas deposit in Nigeria but that is not significantly reflected in the residents and indigenes of the local government area.
Over the years successive local government administrations have emerged with policies and programs to better the lives of Onelgans, yet the oil and gas-rich community is still battling with unemployed youths, power inconsistency, and very poor economic fortune.

The forthcoming local government elections will allow Onelgans with great antecedents, persons who have actively contributed to the Community by improving the lives of residents through initiatives, projects, and track records that indicate a strong understanding of the community’s challenges and a motivation to bring about positive change.

With the establishment of multi-million naira businesses, Comrade Dennis Osere has successfully employed a good number of Onelgans in different fields, making him one of the highest employers of Labour in Onelga, this showcases his ability to lead and manage a team. It indicates his competency in decision-making, problem-solving, and communication.
