RIWAMA Under Acting Sole Administratorship Of Prince Ohia Aborts Plans To Extort Residents With #120,000 Per Construction Site
Rivers State Waste Management Agency under the acting Sole Administratorship of Prince Ohia has aborted the plans to extort money
and demands the payment of One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira (#120,000) per plot, as fees payable for building waste, generated at the construction sites.
The plan suffered a setback due to fear of media backlash.

Tells the masses to disregard such information.
RIWAMA under an acting sole administrator, Prince Ohia, has been under scrutiny and negative side of the news with so many accusations of bad conduct since he became acting RIWAMA boss, making him the only one among the Rivers State Governor appointees under public scrutiny.
The agency was accused of Contract favoritism and awarding contracts to his wife.
A group under the aegis of Niger Delta Youth Leaders, allegedly accused the Acting Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Hon. Prince Ohia of favoritism, sabotage, and political witch-hunting in dealing with the affairs of the agency.
Said the agency is employing his company staff in the government agency, his friends, and relatives, into the agency and leaving the professional and career-driven environmental experts.
Accused of hijacking the resources of the agency for himself.
The worst was being referred to as a ‘Woman beater influencer’ misanthropic and anti-people because the RIWAMA Taskforce is funded for dehumanizing Rivers people especially old women and mothers; the task force recently brutalized mother and son into a stupor and the agency did nothing about it.
The agency is allegedly accused of using the people’s tax money from the agency coffer to launch media propaganda against the Port Harcourt blogger who reported about the brutal attack on the Rivers woman and her son who were dehumanized by the agency.
Also, the agency is accused of Indiscriminate parking of their unsterilized dirty vehicles and refuse in streets of Port Harcourt, such dirty unsterilized compactors and unpacked refuse are a strong avenue for possible Chlorera outbreak.
Reacting to some of the allegation, the RIWAMA acting Sole Administrator Hon. Prince Ohia, through his media aide Obed Douglas refuted the media reports by the group under the aegis of Niger Delta Youth Leaders, said the accusation of Hon. Ohia is to sabotage the Fubara-led administration.
Added that the accusation is not only laughable, but baseless and merely an attempt at cheap blackmail; and that contracts within RIWAMA are awarded based on merit, and there is no favoritism towards the relatives of the principal.
