Ndigbo In Obio/Akpor, Rivers State Rally Support For Gov Fubara
The Igbos in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State rallied support for the governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS with a mega event on Wednesday.
The Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu Rivers and Bayelsa States, who doubled as the coordinator of all non-indigenes traditional leaders in Rivers State and Bayelsa, His Imperial Majesty, Sir Engr. Samm Nwokolo, Eze-Jiofor Ndigbo said Ndigbo will continue to support the State Government and the governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
He went on to say that efforts to cushion the economic stress in business experienced by the Igbos will be reduced by the nearest minimum.
Eze Samm Nwokolo urged the Igbos to be enterprising, work together In love, and play smart politics as well.
In the course of the event, His Youthfulness, Amb Ihunwo Chijioke donated ten (10) million naira to Igbo women in the Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers State.
Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo appreciates the Igbo community for the support given to His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara the Executive Governor of Rivers State before, during, and after the election.
He said the support will not be taken for granted.
He stated that in the face of the crisis that ensued in the State, the Igbo community stood by His Excellency, and assured the Igbo community and other non-indigenes in Rivers State that their businesses and properties are secured under the administration of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
In his remark, High Chief Sam Anya thanked the Igbo community Obio/Akpor for coming together in unity and love.
