Governor Fubara appoints HRM Chike Worlu as chairman of Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers
His Excellency, Governor Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, has appointed Eze Ohna Apara, HRM Chike Worlu DSSRS, as the new Chairman of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers.
The announcement was made during a special meeting of the Council held at the Banquet Hall of Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.
Governor Fubara affirmed that the allowances for the traditional rulers will be disbursed by the end of today, and their official vehicles will be provided.
In his acceptance speech, HRM Chike Worlu expressed his gratitude to Governor Fubara and the administration for the opportunity to serve. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among the traditional rulers to ensure peace and progress in Rivers State.
“We are committed to working together to maintain peace and foster development in Rivers State,” said HRM Worlu. “I want to thank the governor and this administration for their support and dedication.”
