Dez Mayorz News gathered through the commissioner of Information, Senibo Joe Johnson who said:
“…the cost of the project is informed by the critical and strategic nature of the project to the development of the state coupled with its terrain, which takes off from the Port Harcourt ring road near NNS Pathfinder at Mgbuodoha, stretching about 2.0kilometers to Aker road and traverses the back of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education moving southwards to the first bridge crossing to Oguruama to terminate at Bakana and Tombia end.”
He noted that the road captured in the 2024 budget is expected to be completed in 32 months as the Council also approved 30% mobilisation for the project with the rest expected to be paid on milestone and to be funded from the State’s Internally generated revenue without borrowing.
