Land Grabbing: Wike Wants To Instigate A Pogrom And Genocide On Our People – Nkpolu-Oroworukwo Community

– Said they will not allow the FCT Minister to take over their land.

– Calls on President Tinubu, IGP, Rivers CP, Gov. Fubara, and others, to intervene.

The Nkpolu-Oroworukwo community in Port Harcourt Local Government, Rivers State have come out to mount resistance against the the FCT Minister and immediate former governor of Rivers State, H.E. Nyesom Wike whom they accused of trying to grab their ancestral land at Mgbuikhe Luxury Estate, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.

The community said they would not allow anyone to grab their ancestral land.
They unanimously avouched their stand and
called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, IGP, Rivers State Commissioner of Police, and Gov. Siminalayi Fubara to intervene.

Speaking to Dez Mayorz news and other newsmen in Port Harcourt on Friday; the Secretary of the Land Allocation Committee, Mgbuikhe Luxury Estate, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo Town, Livingstone Wechie said that Nyesom Wike is trying to instigate a pogrom and genocide to his people.
He stated that the community will not allow anyone to take their ancestral heritage.

Some of his statements read in parts:
“This is not Wike or Sim matter, this is not PDP or APC matter.
It’s a matter of ancestral heritage.
Wike wants to instigate pogrom and genocide on our people.
We will not allow that. It is a no! No!.
The community will send a delegation to Wike’s community.
Nyesom Wike should be held responsible if anybody dies in the course of this our land.
We will begin physical allocation of the land immediately and Wike can come and kill all of us” – Livingstone Wechie.

The councillor of Ward 10
in the Port Harcourt legislative assembly, Hon. Raymond Wechie has called on the entire people of the Nkpolu-Oroworukwo to resist anybody or a group of persons trying to grab their land.
He avouched that the land is not a conquered territory and that the community will harness their land in common.
