Gov. Fubara Suspends 10,000 Jobs Recruitment, Sets To Begin New Process
– Said the process was faulty.

The Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalyi Fubara GSSRS has suspended the employment of 10,000 Rivers youth and said he will not implement a faulty employment process that allows a 52-year-old to be employed in the State Civil Service.
“We will start a new process, and it will be between 30-35 years at most that will be employed so they’ll have enough time to work for the growth and development of our state.
I have asked that the 10,000 workers recruitment exercise be reviewed by a consultant, and when he is done, proper recruitment will be done, and the highest age will be 35 years for applicants.”- Gov. Siminalayi Fubara.
This is going to affect unemployed youth older than 35 years.
