Students Protest Hoodlums’ Raid On Rivers State University’s Hostel

Hoodlums suspected to be armed robbers broke into hostel D of the female students at the Rivers State University early hours on Thursday 24th August, 2023.
The hoodlums broke into the hostel through the wall, shot sporadically and robbed occupants of hostel D their laptops, phones, jewelries, cash etc.
The female students scampered for safety as the robbers had already left before the arrival of the campus security.
Some female students feared raped. Investigation has commenced to bring the perpetrators to book.
