The Government and good people of Rivers State announce the transition to the glory of
His Royal Majesty
Nyenwe-Eli Omunakwe Nyeche Nsirim (MON),
Paramount Ruler and Apiti of Rumueme Kingdom, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State.
HRM died at the age of 96.
Funeral activities are scheduled as follows:
Day One: Thursday 23rd March 2023.
Variety/Night of Tributes.
Venue: Obi Wali Cultural Center.
Time: 5 pm.
Day Two: Friday, 24th March 2023. Valedictory Session.
Venue: The Rivers State Council of Traditional Ruler Secretariat.
Time: 9:00 am.
A brief stopover at his maternal home, No. 9 Oroakwo, Mgbuoshimiri, Rumueme, PHC,
Time: noon.
Day Three: Date: Saturday 25th March 2023.
