Opinion: WHY I AM CALLING ON RIVERS PEOPLE TO SUPPORT SIR SIMINALAYI FUBARA FOR GOVERNOR IN 2023 ~ By Bro. Princewill Finebone
As a Nigerian, a lot of people have been wondering why I signed into the NEWSIM RIVERSSIM MOVEMENT of Rivers people earnestly supporting Sir Siminalayi Fubara for Governor of Rivers State in 2023.
I am not just calling on Rivers People to support Sir. Siminalayi Fubara for Governor of Rivers State in 2023 on the platform of the PDP simply because he is an Opobo man; even though his being an Opobo man places him at an advantageous position in the political geography of Rivers State.
I am calling on Rivers People to join hands to build a new Rivers Sim Movement. I see in him the Kind of completeness that will usher our dear state into a new phase of developmental strides.
Sir Sim Fubara boasts of a massive experience that places him head and shoulder above other political party candidates in the state.
Sim Fubara started his career in 2003 as Principal Accountant with the Rivers State Post Primary Schools Board. He became Chief Accountant of the Ministry of Works in 2005 and in 2006, was deployed to the Office of Accountant General as assistant to the Accountant General.
He was appointed the Director of Finance and Accounts at the Government House from 2015 till his appointment as Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Finance. Later he was appointed as the Accountant General of Rivers State.
Sim Fubara has garnered massive experience in administrative office. His professional qualifications/affiliations include Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Fellow of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and member, Chartered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Auditors (CIFIA). He has attended several professional conferences, seminars, workshops and training programmes. These include Nigeria National Training Workshops on Public Finance Management at the Federal Treasury Academy, Orozo, Abuja. Rivers State Government Ministry of Finance Training Programme on International Public Sector Accounting Standards and Financial Euromoney Training and Rivers State Government/Transglobal Business Solution Limited Training Workshop on Development and Performance Measurement in Rivers State Public Finance Sector. He therefore understands the workings of how to manage the state accounts and administration. He is an astute, vocal, influential and experienced accountant. He commands unparalleled knowledge and deep understanding of how to run a state treasury.
Politically, Fubara understands the demands of both opposition and mainstream politics. Before his emergence as the standard flag bearer of PDP he was the Leader of PDP in Opobo/Nkoro LGA.
Where others appear brash, Sim Fubara comes as a polished gentleman, where others appear excited and excitable, Sim Fubara comes as thorough and painstaking. Where others appear rash, Sim Fubara comes as diplomatic, where others appear timid, Sim Fubara wears the garment of bravery in his mild and unassuming looks. Where others appear haughty, Sim Fubara comes as humble.
Sir. Sim Fubara is Exposed, He is a Philanthropist, He is God-Fearing and Well-bred, Siminalayi Fubara is very comfortable among the greats and mighty in Rivers State and the country at large and he is among the low and the lowly.
SIM Fubara is a politically inclined TECHNOCRAT of repute with vast experience, has CREDIBILITY, CAPABILITY and INTEGRITY.
I dare say that Siminalayi Fubara is the most accessible senior civil servant and public officer in Rivers State. He is a man who has the right words for the right occasion. Fubara will sit down and listen to all manner of people very calmly, and when he opens his mouth to address your concerns, you will go home happy, knowing that a genius has spoken to you.
Sir. Siminalayi Fubara is a leader who will strive to keep the integrity of Rivers State till the next generation. The youths are motivated and fully connected.
Sim Fubara relationship cut across all the strata of the society, he has a Dependable character and personality.
Sim is a Pan-Rivers Man, His network of friends spread across Tribes, religion and class. He is the New Phase of Rivers State. History and Geography too have placed Sim in a pole position, He is from a Senatorial district that has not produced Governor in Rivers State since the creation of Rivers State and also from the Ijaw Ethnic, therefore, is the time to allow the stream of political justice flow mightily into the part of the state and now is the acceptable time!
These are some of the reasons why I am calling on Rivers people to support Sir Siminalayi Fubara for Governor of Rivers State in 2023.
The possibilities of his Governor will place Rivers State on a pedestal hitherto unattended before in the history of Rivers State. SIM is SIMply the Best.
