DMOMA Awards: My Boss, Sir Allwell Ihunda Has Transformed Old Council Sick Bay To Ultra Modern Hospital – Hon. Tamunotonye Douglas.
The Deputy Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government, Hon. Tamunotonye Douglas has praised Port Harcourt City Local Government chairman, Sir Allwell Ihunda for his developmental strives in Port Harcourt City.
Says the Mayor is fulfilling his campaign promises that are based on developmental Projects and human capacity development.
This she said when DMOMA Award organizers visited her in her office to present her nomination letter to her.
Her statement reads in parts;
“Mayor has transformed the old council sick bay to Ultra Modern Hospital.
He is doing series of projects concurrently, including Urualla Tools-mall, youth empowerment Programme, etc”
“It’s never easy for him to carry all these projects at the same time. But by the grace of God, the projects are 98% completed and waiting for commissioning.”
“The projects are economic viable projects that will also generate funds to the city council.” – Hon. Tamunotonye Douglas said.
She commended women participation in Sir Allwell Ihunda administration. Says more women will benefit before the end of Sir Allwell Ihunda’s administration..
“To be honest, Port Harcourt City Mayor has done his best in carrying women along, and before the end of Mayor’s administration, more women will benefit from Sir Allwell Ihunda’s administration’ – She added.
Hon Tamunotonye Douglas said she will have a talk with her boss, Sir Allwell Ihunda on a possible way to reach out to people in grassroot on health grounds because only people who are healthy will come out and vote in the forth coming elections.
