The ‘Amalgamated Advocates for Good Governance’ a.k.a. ‘AMAGOG’ congratulate the Rivers State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Sir Siminalayi Fubara on his graceful emergence as the PDP flag bearer in Rivers State.
Says the gale of defection suffered by the Opobo / Nkoro chapter the All Progressives Congress (APC), where floods of APC LGA and Ward leaders and executive members defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a clear testimony of Siminialaye’s basal acceptance, and a justification of the fact that good leadership must be practiced and appreciated from the home, another way of saying that “Charity begins at home.”

In a press release signed by all the AMAGOG National Executives, Rivers State Executives, LGA cordinators and proactive Nigerian youths across all states in Nigeria, the proactive group also commend Gov Nyesom Wike for his intimidating outing at the PDP Presidential primary. AMAGOG CONGRATULATES THE RIVERS STATE PDP GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE, AMAOPUSENIBO SIMINIALAYI FUBARA.

~ Commends Gov. Nyesom Wike for his intimidating outing at the PDP Presidential primary.

* We the National, Rivers State and Local Government Executives, and BOT members of the Amalgamated Advocates for Good Governance (AMAGOG) joyfully and wholeheartedly congratulates the Rivers State PDP Governorship flag bearer for the 2023 General elections, Amaopusenibo Sim Fubara on his well deserved emergence and the recent gale of defections from the APC to the PDP in his home town Opobo in Opobo /Nkoro Local Government Area.

* The gale of defection suffered by the Opobo / Nkoro chapter the All Progressives Congress (APC), where floods of APC LGA and Ward leaders and executive members defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a clear testimony of Siminialaye’s basal acceptance, and a justification of the fact that good leadership must be practiced and appreciated from the home, another way of saying that “Charity begins at home.”

* It is worthy to note that the massive defection wasn’t influenced by tribal considerations, rather by the character, magnanimity and charismatic leadership style of Siminialayi Fubara; after all, the Opobo / Nkoro extraction has had governorship candidates in the past, yet such had never been the case.

* Therefore, we see this trait that has been identified, appreciated and embraced by the good people of Opobo/ Nkoro LGA. as what we as Rivers people need to be sustained at the state level, even after the tenure of our pace setter Governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike.

* As our dear country prepares for another transition election, we wish to passionately call on all citizens, residents and indigens of our blessed state to remember that our votes should be an expression of our commitment to our individual and collective progress and development and not an expression of any form of sentiment; for an informed and enlightened electorates is the cornerstone of progressive democracies all over the world.

* Sir Siminialayi Joseph Fubara lived all his life in Rivers State, and worked for the State as a public servant for decades and rose to become the State Accountant General; hence we make bold to say that he’s administratively equipped, socially rooted, intellectually proficient and profoundly conversant with the needs and challenges of all the nooks and crannies of Rivers State, and will take the policy direction of rapid development, prudence in governance, accountability, economic prosperity and most importantly, security to a greater height when he emerges as governor.

* Conclusively, we commend Gov. Nyesom Wike who can be best described as a golden fish, for his intimidating outing at the PDP presidential primary which has proven that our great state can not be toiled with, a feat that has brought National politics to Rivers State, laying a promising platform that will produce the desired future for our State and the South South Region that is the hen egg that lays the golden egg.

* Therefore, the best we can do to sustain and improve on Wike’s outstanding achievements and also consolidate on the expected gains of his national political exploits is for us to support and vote for Amaopusenibo Siminialayi Fubara.
