The DMOMA Award’s LGA chairman of the year (on security), Rt Hon. Enyiada Cookey-Gam has begun another segment of his 6 points agenda in Opobo/Nkoro LGA, Rivers State.
The youthful chairman did very well on security in his first 100 days in office, now Kick-starts Opobo/Nkoro LGA council Transport Scheme in grand style, to ease movement of people to and fro Opobo/Nkoro during this Christmas and festive season.
Rt. Hon. Senibo Enyiada Cookey-gam charges the members of the transport committee to put all hands on deck and maximize the opportunity before them.
He urged them to manage the vehicles with care, adding that this investment should add more vehicles to the scheme in due time
He earlier told Dez Mayorz media that the transport scheme is to enable his people enjoy the best road Gov Wike built for Opobo/Nkoro in this festive period.
The deputy LGA chairman of Opobo/Nkoro LGA, Hon. Angela Anthony Oju-Kienmi commended her boss for such transport scheme projects in the LGA.
The kick-off ceremony was performed by the Deputy Chief Whip of Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Major Jack.
Hon. Major Jack expressed satisfaction with the performance of the executive chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Council, which he attributed to the leadership 1Million Youths For New Rivers, being a one time Local Government Coordinator.
