The Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda has advised the people of Umuine Igbodo Community in Etche Local Government Area to reciprocate Hon. Obinna’s benevolence with their continuous support for the PDP in the Local Government Area as the 2023 elections draw closer.
The Mayor who made the remark as a special guest during the commissioning of the newly constructed and equipped Community Primary School in the Community, built by the Etche Local Government under the Chairmanship of Hon. Dr. Obinna Anyanwu.
“I’m aware that Hon. Obinna Anyanwu has embarked on people oriented projects across this Local Government Area just within 100 days of his 2nd tenure. From my several discussions with him, I can assure you that he will do more because he’s a man of his words and has an uncommon interest in the wellbeing of his people.”
“If you want to continue to enjoy the democratic dividends of the Wike led Rivers State Government and the Obinna led Local Government, I’ll advise you to continue to support the PDP at all levels”. Sir Allwell Ihunda said.
In his remark earlier, the Chairman, Etche Local Government Area expressed his appreciation to the people of Igbodo Community for their cooperation during the construction of the School; and assured them of more projects as requested.
“You remember 3 months ago, I promised to contruct this school that has been dillapitated for several years.
Thank God today we are here celebrating its completion. I want to once again appeal that you should take advantage of the ongoing INEC Registration exercise, mobilize your people who do not have their voters card to go and register”. Hon. Obinna said.
High point of the program was the conferment of a Chieftaincy tittle “Ihe of Etche” on Hon. Obinna Anyanwu by the Igbodo Council of Chiefs.
