Imo State Health Insurance Scheme: Deputy Speaker Urges Nwangele Indigenes To Enroll
The Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and member representing Nwangele Constituency, Rt Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu has urged his constituents in Nwangele Local Government Area to avail themselves of the opportunity provided by the ongoing enrollment of eligible vulnerable persons into the special health insurance scheme, known as Basic Healthcare Provision Fund.
Chief of Staff to the Deputy Speaker, Chief Paul Duru in a statement, said each Ward has an allotment of 80 persons, spelt out as follows: Pregnant Women (25); Elderly, 65 years and above (25); Children, 5 years old and below (25), and People living with disability, (5).
The Deputy Speaker called on interested persons who must fall under any of the categories listed above, to call and obtain the form from any of the following officers under their Wards: Amaigbo Ward 1 (Onwuegbuchu George, 08063616144); Amaigbo Ward 2 (Ndubuisi N.N Dikeocha, 08160601843); Amaigbo Ward 3 (Nnorom Nnamdi Charles Esq, 08164340168); Amaigbo Ward 4 (Echesirim Ugwoha, 08142576351) and Amaigbo Ward 5 (Maureen Chimara, 08036966096).
Others are Dim-Na-Nu-Me Isu Ward (Mr. Chinedu Ndubuaku, 08033779800); Abajah Ward 1 (Michael Nwachukwu 07061622559); Abajah Ward 2 (Nathaniel Anyiam, 08033423692) and Kara-Na-Orlu Ward (F.M. Dikeukwu 08037309355).
Also listed are, ABBA Ward (Chimezie Ekegbo, 0806838505) and, Umuozu Ward (Francis Onumajuru, 07068780105).
While thanking all constituents for their support and continued cooperation, Rt. Hon. Iwuanyanwu disclosed that the Imo State Health Insurance Agency would visit Nwangele LGA next week for the final lap of the enrollment, stressing that only those seen to have filled their forms would be attended to.
