Mayor Victor Ihunwo deserves major accolades for the on-going task force decongestion in Rivers State.
Rivers State is getting more beautiful day by day and free of traffic since the emergence of Gov Nyesom Wike decongestion task force in Rivers State.
You can’t talk about the on-going Task Force decongestion in Rivers State without mentioning the Port Harcourt City Mayor Hon Victor Ihunwo Nyeche JP, who practically started massive decongestion in Port Harcourt City first, and recorded huge success especially the standardization and decongestion of Bishop Okoye street (market) in Mile 3, Port Harcourt.
Before the Rivers State Task Force embarked on decongestion, Port Harcourt City Mayor have been doing a great job on that regard.
The “Man of Service” Mayor Victor Ihunwo have been leading a tip top team on decongestion of traffic and illegal motor parks in Port Harcourt City.
DEZ MAYORZ Nigeria went to the streets of Port Harcourt to interview Rivers State people on the on-going decongestion and below is what some of the people said:
“Port Harcourt City is a beautiful city whose traffic movement should be free and easy. I totally support Gov Nyesom Wike task force and also applaud the Port Harcourt City Mayor Hon Victor Ihunwo Nyeche who started it first in the Port Harcourt City local government with his amiable action and enforcement. He is a good modern leader He deserves the major accolades on the on-going street decongestion in Rivers State” – Chibuzor Solomon.
“Port Harcourt are much happier with Gov Wike task force and Mayor Ihunwo’s vision and mission, and we are always ready to support to actualise this goal for the betterment of Port Harcourt City and Rivers State.” – Chibuzor Solomon (mile 3 traders leader) told Dez Mayorz Nigeria.
Also reacting, Mrs (Prof) Ebile Nwankwo hails Gov Wike task force and Mayor Victor Ihunwo.
“I have been driving freely now in Rivers State, I also noticed that Port Harcourt is the most decongested area among other areas and local government in Rivers State. This is because Mayor Victor Ihunwo Nyeche JP has done some major intelligent works already in the streets of Port Harcourt City, especially the garrison, waterlines, Bishop Okoye street, among others.
The Rivers State task force is doing good, but they can as well consult Mayor Victor Ihunwo for some advice for them to record more success like Port Harcourt City is recording” – Prof Ebile Nwankwo told Dez Mayorz.
Dez Mayorz Nigeria reported earlier that Mayor Victor Ihunwo Nyeche JP suspended his decongestion team in Port Harcourt City due to the emergence of Rivers State Task Force and vow to work with them for the betterment of Rivers State and Port Harcourt City.
