Let’s Use Our Good Health, Treasure, Time And Talent To Serve The Lord – Fr Francis Tete Tells His New Parishioners In Eagle Island.
The newly assigned parish priest of Church Of The Ascension Catholic Church, Eagle Island, Rev Fr. Francis Tete has called on his new Parishioners to unite and use all they have to serve the Lord.
This he said during his first Mass at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church Eagle Island on Sunday 24th October, 2021.
Fr. Francis Tete commends and appreciates the former parish priest, Fr Chimaobi Ohaji and the parishioners, for all their tremendous input in the church.

Church of the Ascension, Eagle Island was created from Seat of Wisdom Catholic Chaplaincy, Rivers State University, during Rev Fr Bartholomew Uzoma.
Fr Michael Akere and Fr. Simeon Nwosu also managed the station before it was made a quasi parish.
Fr. Chimaobi Ohaji wass the first parish priest of the Church of the Ascension.
Fr Francis Tete (from Khana) is now the second parish priest.
The church of the Ascension’s Mass time is on Sundays is 8am.
